🎉 Congratulations to Hyejeong Kwon on receiving a Best Presentation Award at SE3 2026! So proud of HyeJeong for this recognition.

ATLANTA, Ga. — The Jiang Lab had a great time at the SouthEastern Environmental Engineering Conference (SE3) 2026 at Georgia Tech. Beyond the talks and posters, the group enjoyed some bowling and a team dinner together. Many thanks to the SE3 co-chairs, Dr. Xing Xie and Dr. Ameet Pinto, and the organizing team at Georgia Tech for putting together such a welcoming event and for the opportunity to connect with colleagues across the Southeast.

Excited to share that our paper, "Abundance–transcription decoupling reveals functional partitioning in bioelectrochemical denitrification biofilms," has been published in Environmental Research. Congratulations to Hyejeong Kwon for leading this work through to publication.
